Janet K. Long, M.A., LMFT, ATR-BC, CTP

Janet K. Long is an artist, psychotherapist, mind-body movement therapist, and educator with thirty years experience developing public programs in the creative arts therapies and her own private practice in the Oakland hills, just east of San Francisco.

She was a founding member of the Northern California Art Therapy Association (NCATA) in the early 1970's, and has been an active contributor to the field of Art Therapy ever since.

Since 1981, she has taught Art Therapy and Psychology courses at the California College of Arts and Crafts; and in 1991 she developed the Post-Master's Certificate Program in Clinical Art Therapy at UC Berkeley Extension. Currently, most of her time is devoted to private practice and consultation.
